About CDM Group
CDM Group began in Lititz, PA, as Garry Longenecker Construction in 1973. The first job was the construction of an A-frame home in conjunction with a friend. From that point on, the business developed and grew through the years. We moved to our current location in 1975 where we transformed a dairy barn into offices, a kitchen showroom, and a cabinet and millwork shop. Our most recent improvement to the property is the renovation of a tobacco barn into offices as well. Our location is just off 283 at the Salunga exit. The property sits in a hollow along the Chicques Creek adjacent to Shenck’s Mill Covered Bridge.
Our reputation speaks for itself! Our best advertisement has been “word of mouth” and we believe that this method is more reliable than commercial advertisement. Known for top quality work, we specialize in fine detail and take a large amount of pride in what we design and build. Our employees work with that same philosophy, keeping the jobsite clean and showing full respect to our clients. We understand that a building business is only as good as its craftsman, and we keep that bar of standards quite high!
In the many years of being in the construction business, we have done varied projects from repairs to million dollar homes. But our forte has been in additions and renovations. We have a unique talent in working with clients to design new spaces in their homes. Because we have a cabinet/millwork shop on our property, these jobs often entail new kitchens, baths, and varied millwork. We work locally, but have designed and installed many kitchens in central New Jersey and as far away as Bermuda. Wherever we go, quality and pride follow. Being a small corporation, we are able to maintain a personal connection with our clients and the close management of every project.
